Our Founding Director, Dr James Lesh, has been appointed as an Honorary Fellow with the Future Regions Research Centre (FRRC) at Federation University Australia.

James brings a level of academic expertise rarely found in private consultancy. This expertise sits at the heart of our "next-generation" approach, ensuring our strategic advice is always informed by the latest ideas and built on robust evidence.
With a PhD from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Arts from the University of London, James has held academic roles at the University of Melbourne, the University of Sydney, Deakin University, and King’s College London. He is also the author of Values in Cities: Urban Heritage in Twentieth-Century Australia and is a recognised industry leader.
Bridging the gap between academic rigour and practical strategy is central to our philosophy. By staying active in research, we ensure our independent advice remains at the forefront of industry best practice. This gives our clients the insight needed to navigate complex planning, policy, and strategic environments.
